Poetry in the Gardens

“There is not a particle of life which does not bear poetry within it”

                                                                                    Gustave Flaubert

To mark the 150th anniversary of the Public Gardens, there will be monthly poetry readings at sites throughout the Gardens.

It won’t all be poems about flowers and trees. There are other things that inspire – the classical statuary, the geese, the blue heron, the water features, and your memories of the Gardens.

The Public Gardens is a wonderful setting to read beautiful words on any subject, by any poet.

If you are a poet, published or unpublished, and you would like to participate, check out the schedule:

June 25th              6pm to 8pm
